Driver's Ed.

While driving in the car today Lillianna asked me, "So who teaches a kid to drive, the mother or the father?" I explained to her about taking the written test to get a learner's permit.The next step is taking the driver's ed. course which includes the on the road driving. After that a parent or relative can take the student out on the road for practice until they feel they are ready for their road test.
I explained about all the things she would have to do to pass this test. "Then if you complete all of the requirements, the instructor gives you a piece of paper to say you passed the test and you get your license." Lillianna was so excited when she asked, "And then where do you go to pick out your car?"
Ahhhh....if it were only so simple! A free car with each license.
